Introduction to the BVPA

The British Veterinary Poultry Association (BVPA), established in 1956, is a division of the British Veterinary Association for poultry veterinarians and scientists. Celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2006, BVPA aims to enhance members’ knowledge through three annual educational and technical meetings held in winter, spring, and summer.

Meetings of the BVPA

Our main meeting and AGM (Spring) is usually held over a 2-3 day period in March/April.

The second meeting (Winter) is held over 2 days, usually in November.

A one-day (Summer) meeting is usually held in June at a Research Institute or similar venue.
